reporters are morons

Now a days, when everyone is looking to attack the U.S. Military in one way or another under the guise of "We support our troops, but... insert some deragatory comment about some military figure / operation / base / command / etc." it pisses me off to see stuff like this.

Last time I checked cameras have been banned in classified military installations everywhere since the conception of cameras. BREAKING NEWS!!! Cameras banned at Langley due to missing WMD's! Also banned at FBI Headquarters because of missing children scandel! For fuck's sake people.

Now granted, I'm sure some dumb-ass gov't employee in the DoD probably did say some of those things filling his work quota for the month by answering the phone. BUT, since when do reporters not think about their story or make a couple of calls to back it up? Wouldn't you think - hmm... I wonder why they let cameras in there before? Wait, did they? And cell phones - wouldn't they get in a tinsy, tiny bit of trouble for having an active signal device on inside a war zone? Hmmm... I wonder... oh well, I'll just write the story and try to get everyone paranoid.

All this E3 coverage is making me cream myself.

New handhelds, new games, cool sequels... yeah, not leaving my basement for a few more years...

uh... wow

This scares me but does no surprise me at all.

From USNews.com:

The Google Terrrorist
It was the lead item on the government's daily threat matrix one day last April. Don Emilio Fulci described by an FBI tipster as a reclusive but evil millionaire, had formed a terrorist group that was planning chemical attacks against London and Washington, D.C. That day even FBI director Robert Mueller was briefed on the Fulci matter. But as the day went on without incident, a White House staffer had a brainstorm: He Googled Fulci. His findings: Fulci is the crime boss in the popular video game Headhunter. "Stand down," came the order from embarrassed national security types.
